2. Source of data

Personal data originate directly from the data subject and are obtained in connection with use of the contact form, e-mail correspondence or telephone contact.

3. Scope of data

Processing may cover: first and last name, company name, e-mail address, phone number, route, type of cargo, inquiry content and other information provided to the Controller in connection with the contact.

4. Purposes and legal bases of processing

Personal data are processed for the following purposes:

• responding to the inquiry and preparing a quote — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR,
• conclusion and performance of a contract for transport or forwarding services — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR,
• compliance with legal obligations — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR,
• establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Recipients of data

Recipients of the data may include providers of hosting, e-mail and accounting services and — to the extent necessary to perform the order — subcontractors and logistics partners, as well as authorities authorised under applicable law.

6. Retention period

Data relating to correspondence and inquiries are stored for up to 3 years from the last contact. Contract-related data are stored for the duration of the contract and for the period required by law or until limitation periods expire.

7. Rights of the data subject

The data subject has the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on the Controller’s legitimate interest. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

8. Voluntary provision of data

Provision of personal data is voluntary, but necessary in order to respond to an inquiry or perform a contract. Failure to provide the data makes it impossible to carry out those activities.

9. Automated decision-making

Personal data are not used for solely automated decision-making, including profiling that produces legal effects concerning the data subject or similarly significantly affects them.
